Know My Fertility

When to consult the Infertility specialist?

“Don’t Wait. Because Every one’s Right Time is Different"

We are sure that as a couple dreaming of becoming parents, you have many questions in your mind that you desperately want answers to. Remember that conception is a delicate dance between egg and sperm, where there is no one right time to have a baby that fits everyone. Thus, the appropriate time to consult with a fertility specialist varies.
However, infertility is a time-dependent issue influenced by a complex web of factors such as age, lifestyle, and medical conditions that require a deeper understanding and accurate diagnosis by an expert.
If you have been trying to conceive, with each month that passes without a positive pee test, it’s time to get yourself checked for potential fertility problems. As they say, “time is precious, and every minute counts”, so does your fertility.

What is Infertility?

Infertility is a medical condition of the male and female reproductive systems where a couple fails to achieve pregnancy after one year of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse. This window period is even shorter, dropping to 6 months when couples over 35 years old are trying to conceive.
If you fall into any of the above categories, remember you’re not alone – at least 1 in 8 couples have difficulty conceiving, which means infertility is common.

What causes Infertility?

Studies have shown that in roughly one-third of cases when couples cannot conceive on their own, a female component is the sole cause of infertility. Another third of the time, infertility is caused by a combination of factors in both partners. Thus, a thorough assessment of each partner is required to determine the best course of action.
